I have spent a huge amount of time creating a 64 page booklet which offers a version of A Christmas Carol which is essentially pre-annotated. The idea is that key events are signposted, there are pause spaces for key quotations, and general discussion annotation space in the booklet. It will save time and money for students who cannot afford copies of the text. It will also limit time spent annotating as many key points are already there.
There are also pre-reading tasks and overview tasks at the end. A context booklet, which supports AQA Language P2 skills, is now available here, which is there to support the unit (though not necessary).
I sell a lot of resources within my CPD sessions, however I am keen to make all of this freely available. Some people have suggested having a donate a coffee option available – so, if you download and use these resources and want to say thank-you in this way, click below:

Overview of unit:
To help people understand the resources available, here is a brief teacher guide. Scroll to see the overview, and you can download the .pdf or .doc below. This will be updated once the context booklet is complete.
A Christmas Carol Course Reader
The full, unadapted text is below, with events and quotation tracker, opening context task, all annotations and one task to end each stave, and a series of closing tasks. You can download either the .pdf or .doc – however you may need to download this font to get it to work for you on word!
Context booklet
The following booklet is designed to support AQA language paper 2. It focuses on the 19th century non-fiction, and the skill of understanding and explaining a viewpoint. The thirteen sources are picked to support the contextual understanding of A Christmas Carol, and are mapped against the novella in the above overview document. The true or false statements are also in this document along with the suggested videos for the context tasks. PDF and DOC are available, but as above, you will need to download the anitypewriter font if you want to adapt!
