SESSION INFORMATION
When purchasing this session, you gain a hour and a half CPD video where I talk through the design of the unit, the booklet structure, and then give student examples from when the booklet has been used. You will also receive a PDF and DOC version of the booklet to use, as well as a copy of the PPT used in the session.
You are purchasing a 62 page structured creative writing booklet designed to improve description at sentence level through repeated, transferable practice. Using a six-step training model, students develop precision, atmosphere and control through focused work on colour imagery, sound imagery, weather and unsettling mood. Rather than relying on inspiration alone, the booklet breaks creative writing into manageable skills that can be practised, refined and applied to any AQA Language Paper 1 Question 5 prompt. Whilst it is designed for Y10, and the AQA paper, it is mainly writing skills, so can certainly be used for other year groups/exam boards.
